Tadelakt

The tadelakt is a traditional coating-stucco of the Moroccan culture, and Moroccan craft industry, smooth, soft, waterproof, fungicidal, and brilliant, containing lime of Marrakech, lime water, and black soap, tinted with coloured pigments, traditionally used to seal water tanks, or in arts and crafts and decorative arts, to coat and seal fountains, pools, basins, sinks, hammams, bathrooms (shower, bath, sink. ..), floors, walls, roofs, and facades of riads, or Moroccan palaces.
